Police detained one of the suspects

The suspect was detained at about 10:00 in an apartment south of Linz. The man may be involved in a series of attacks in Vienna on the evening of November 2.

According to eyewitnesses, the police took out the man and two other people who were in the same apartment with him. The detainees did not expect a visit from law enforcement officers, so they did not resist.

The name of the detainee is not disclosed.

In order for the police to focus on the search for terrorists, the Austrian military was temporarily tasked with guarding facilities in Vienna.

One of the terrorists was able to escape. The police are still looking for him. Local residents are asked to stay at home in the future and not go out unless absolutely necessary.

The Austrian Interior Minister said that due to the terrorist attack, border control with neighboring states is being strengthened.

Vienna has a very well organized urban space. If you are tired of crowds of tourists, numerous restaurants and shops, you can always turn into a less busy street and, having gone a bit, find yourself in a park, the whole atmosphere of which contributes to relaxation and rest.
