A popular nightclub in Sydney will be forced to be closed for 24 hours after being caught in a selling alcohol to minors. Some 16-year-old girls can be seen on the recording from cameras in Café Del Mar's at Cockle Bay Wharf. Then some teens go up to the bar twice and order cocktails. Police later discovered that the girls used fake documents.
Cafe del Mar was suspended for trade and was supposed to close for 24 hours in over a week. NSW's Independent Liquor Authority told that serving alcohol to minors is a serious crime. Authorities say over the past two years, more than 40 locations in New South Wales have been held accountable.
'All employees have an active responsible service for certification of alcoholic beverages in accordance with the requirements of the law, and in accordance with this plan an internal training course was conducted.' informs the cafe.
