A citizen's perspective on the Tigrain war

my name is Tiana berkel and I live in Addis Ababa. so this is not a strange topic for Ethiopian citizens but for those who live abroad let me introduce you a little information about the war. the war unofficially started or was initiated in the 3rd of November 2020, when the TPLF (tigrain people's liberation front) attacked in the northern headquarters in Mekelle which made officials revengeful but it got worse through out the year when the TPLF attacked many villages and officials of the Amhara region. and it wouldn't take a genius to figure out that this made the citizens and officials of Amhara very angry. and that's when prime minister dr. Abiy Ahmed joined in one the unofficial war and the reason for that was because the TPLF made a non official voting ceremony after the prime minister forbid it. but the joining of the prime minister took the war to the next level. he cut of all food resources from the who and other resources like telecommunications, airport services and even electricity and water which affected the tigrain people very much but it got worse as the military force of ethiopia started harassing and torturing the innocent tigrain people. they would rape young girls and burn husbands in front of their families and it was officially a terrible war between the military force and tigrain people. the tigrain people started fighting back and now the military force are running.

I have explained the whole war situation and I will now tell you what I think about all of this and my perspective

I honestly am tired of the whole nations and nationalities war. we are one country, we look the same and I can list out millions of similarities . but somehow we still find a way to differentiate ourselves from one another and for what? sure there are some bad people in all tribes and I am not all MS. perfect and I have said many stereotypical statements and everyone has but why does it go to the level that innocent people are being raped, tortured and killed by people who are meant to serve the country. I only have one thing I can say MAY GOD HELP US.
