How People Grieve The Holy Spirit

Ephesians 4:30

[30]And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Beloved, there are many that grieve the Holy Spirit.

They really make Him sad, many Christians and ministers of the gospel today do not allow God's Spirit to use them to do what He greatly desire besides when sin against Him, makes Him depart from them.

*Fear grieves Him,

*Doubt grieves Him,

*Complaints grieves Him,

*Being unhappy always in your heart grieves Him,

*If you sin, you grieve Him

*Disloyalty grieves the Spirit of God .

And every action that goes contrary to the word of God grieves Him.

*The Holy Spirit is a personality without body and needs personality with body to perform, which is you the temple of God.

There are many that are gifted but are not using it to edify the the church or the Body Of Christ and this seriously grieves Him.

One day, a man of God told me that, he want to preach the gospel but he don't have any money on him to go out to do that, besides he was not schooled so his church don't accept him or recognize him as a man of God to lead the church as a Shepherd. He left the church and came to his home town where I am and according to him, he is a prophet.

But i told him, when the Holy Spirit comes upon you with His fire, you can't stay at one place

Beloved this is because, Peter the preacher of the gospel who is an Apostle and disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ and the pillar of the Christianity who was not schooled but because of the Holy Spirit upon Him was able to allow himself for God's Spirit to use him to impart into multitudes lives.

Some grieves Him a lot.

Even when you don't preach the gospel to others you grieve Him so far as He has given you the gift and the grace. You have to go out and preach the good tidings.

Acts 21:13-14

[13]Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

[14]And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.

Here, Apostle Paul was not being stubborn, but due to the understanding God's Spirit has given unto him through the word of God about how we are to be committed and Spirited even when persecution arises, he became vibrant and surely the Lord used him to accomplish the purpose.

Their cry was grieving his heart and not only his heart but the joy God's Spirit has given him to the work.

Due to the other disciples unbelieve, they've already questioned God's ability.

Are we not to die for Him?

If you let anything separate you from the love of God, you have grieve the Holy Spirit.

God remove His Holy Spirit from people who are unclean or sinners. *Genesis 6:3*

Genesis 6:6

[6]And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

People who are disobedient to Him

1 Samuel 15:23,35

[23]For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

[35]And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the LORD repented that he had made Saul king over Israel.

Ephesians 5:2-12

[2]And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

[3]But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

[4]Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

[5]For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

[6]Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

[7]Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

[8]For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

[9](For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

[10]Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

[11]And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

[12]For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

Do not become stunted in Spiritual growth for you were called to bear fruit so if not you will also grieve Him.

People boast of the ages they've fellowship with church but never mind their spiritual maturity.

Is Righteousnes Possible?

We have many Christians and Pastors that declare in the church that there is no Righteousness besides no one is perfect even though we've come to Christ.

But I Philip as the word of God makes me understand His word through the Holy Spirit which gives me mysteries in His word, I believe and declare that righteousness is possible for those who have Christ Jesus.

Without Jesus, in our generation, no one is righteous.

Jeremiah 33:16

[16]In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.

What is Righteousness?

Purity of heart and rectitude of life; conformity of heart and life to the divine law. Righteousness, as used in Scripture and theology, in which it is chiefly used, is nearly equivalent to holiness, comprehending holy principles and affections of heart, and conformity of life to the divine law. It includes all we call justice, honesty and virtue, with holy affections; in short, it is true religion.

So are we declaring that no one is holy, no one righteous since we have Christ and born again and behold the old things have past away and now we live with new mind and a clean heart?

When you become born again and gain Christ, you have Him to be your Righteousness

Without Him you are never righteous.

Isaiah 53:5-6

[5]But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

[6]All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

We were all sinners but He came to die for us that we will live in righteousness through His blood.

His blood serves as an atonement for our sins and through that we are purged.

Yes you can live a holy life, you can live a righteous life, it is possible!

Matthew 5:10

[10]Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus said happy are those who thirst for righteousness and also are persecuted. Meaning with righteousness you will be persecuted because the world hate you and they know the Father not.

Without Righteousness, you can never please God

Acts 10:35

[35]But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

See people who God declared righteous because they believed in God.

Romans 4:3

[3]For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

Romans 4:6-7

[6]Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

[7]Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

Job 1:1

God declared Job as a perfect man a righteous man.

Enoch was declared righteous by the Lord

Noah was declared righteous

Also David, because he declared as the Lord covered his sins and forgave him of his iniquity.

So all these people are in the old testament and Jesus Christ was not even in, but when He came He took man's weakness and all unrighteousness that if you believe in Him and take Him in your life, you will be forgiven and live righteously unto God.

Romans 3:25-28

[25]Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

[26]To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

[27]Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

[28]Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

You are justified by faith and through faith you do believe that Jesus Christ is the only righteousness and if you accept Him, you become righteous.

If they call us sinners and weak people as we have Christ then they mean that Christ's death is in vain. But God forbid that Christ's death will be in vain.

Galatians 2:21

[21]I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Hebrews 10:14-20

[14]For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

[15]Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

[16]This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

[17]And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

[18]Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

[19]Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

[20]By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

Even through the blood of some four legged animals were sacrificed and through faith their sins were forgiven and covered but we that have Christ , through His blood our sins are not remembered again.

Our righteousness is of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Any man of God, any Christian or any person who says that righteousness is not possible in man is an antiChrist.

Let live a righteous life and Holy, if we have come to Christ through His blood, we are saved and new things and new life begins.

Hallelujah!

God richly bless you all and lift you up and help you know more of His word in Jesus name. Amen
