'Help is the most expensive gift, so be rich by heart'. - Mr. Tarun Mathur (Founder of NGO, Air India Officer & an International Chess Player)
Hamari Pahchan NGO, registered under the Indian Trust Act, 1882 having registration No. 1487, working in the field of Health, Sanitation, Women Empowerment, Skill Development, Child Education over the past 6 years with the collaboration and support from Delhi Police, School Teachers, Advocates, Experienced Doctors and the youth of schools and colleges.
They seek a world of hope, tolerance and social justice, where poverty has been overcome and all people live with dignity and security. Their vision is to help everyone in creating their own ‘Pahchan’ and living a life with dignity.
Latest Achievement: Ramdas Athawale, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment (Government of India), has praised and recognised Hamari Pahchan NGO. This honor is also given to their Founder, Mr. Tarun Mathur who is an Air India Employee and an International Chess Player, for establishing a vision of empowerment and for 'Helping Each Other' in the society. From time to time many MLAs and MPs have appreciated our projects by providing us with recommendation letters and appreciation letters.
In the upcoming months, the goal is to add more members to the community and work with bulk volunteers in order to bring a change in the society and help the underprivileged people. They are also working efficiently on their Sukhad Project where they aim to distribute 50,000 Sanitary Kits to the underprivileged women so that every woman can spend their period days happily.
Recently, Mr. Tarun Mathur along with a young chess player, Ms. Yuvika Sehgal hosted a workshop for the underprivileged children of slums where they taught them the basics of chess (picture from the event attached below).
We require such NGOs which are dealt by good leaders like Mr. Tarun Mathur who aims at changing the society or work on it on a large scale so that the upcoming generations can understand its need and can work upon it accordingly.
