The soldiers guarding the borders of the country, who always have guns in their hands, but on the Pak border adjoining Jaisalmer, in their spare time, along with chalk and blackboard, they are also awakening education. This is the reality of the BSF on the Pak border with Jaisalmer, which creates respect and belonging for the soldiers in the hearts of the people here, and the youth drawn by this familiarity to provide quality schooling to the children of the border villages of Jaisalmer in their spare time. In this unique home courtyard project run by BSF, children are studying Hindi English Mathematics. At the same time, they are also learning the way of living.
The inaccessible border of the district, where sandy dhore is spread far away and on this border, in 1971, Pakistan had made a disastrous plan to join this part of India, but this nefarious plan of Pakistan was given by the patriotic people. The BSF, which has been guarding the borders away from the wars for the last long time, has now become a part of the life here and the BSF and the local people have also come to understand very well and it is the result of mutual harmony and belonging that the BSF resides in these areas The people consider the people as their own family and fueled by this sentiment, the BSF has made up its mind to teach in the border villages.
Villagers living here are deprived of all the basic facilities of the government. Even though there are no government teachers in these schools in the villages on the Indo-Pak border, the BSF personnel are regularly providing education to the children here and this is not an amateur work, but a regular process. In this, the soldiers guarding the borders are duty bound and they go to these schools and teach children according to their ability.

The clean reservoir (CWR) at Deshnok was damaged five months ago under the Nagaur lift project Phase-II of the Department of Water Supply at a cost of 10 crores. But so far no action has been taken against the engineer and contractor firm L&T, which has been negligent in making CWR. While Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also ordered the principal secretary of the department, Sandeep Verma, to investigate. But even taking action, the investigation has not been completed yet. The Nagaur Lift Project Second Phase is about 2938 crores. The capacity of the damaged tank is 23 thousand million liters.
Khajuwala MLA Govindaram Meghwal had written complaint to the Chief Minister about the CWR being damaged. After this, the chief minister wrote a letter to the jalade officers. The chairman of the Nokha Block Congress Committee, Meghsingh, also complained about the case. Deepvendra Singh of Rashtriya Janchetna Manch has also complained to the government and ACB about this matter. But so far no action has been taken on the contractor company and the monitoring engineers working on the project. At the same time, the Superintendent Engineer (Project) Shubhanshu Dixit of XEN and presently Jaipur City Circle, argued that there was no disturbance in quality.
If the tank is damaged, the company is now rebuilding at its own expense. There is no fault of anyone in this. Department's Superintending Engineer (Project) Rishi Tanwar says that the damaged CWR will be dismantled and removed. In its place, contractor company L&T will now make a new CWR of the same capacity elsewhere. After investigation, he has given the top officers of the department. Now the final decision in this regard will be taken in the technical committee itself.
Kanota Rural in the district is celebrating the filling and overflow of the Bisalpur dam on the one hand, and plans are being made to revive the Ramgarh dam in Jaipur on the other. But there is also a dam in Jaipur that has become a victim of the administration's neglect and is currently a dirty water store. The Kanota dam was constructed in the year 2000 with the objective of providing water to nearby areas and villages of Jaipur.
After the construction of this dam, the arrival of water increased the water level and the area also prospered, but due to the dirty water coming from the city of Jaipur including the Jalmahal, it got polluted. The water of this dam is rotting and dirt is lying around it. Here a person should stand and cannot stop because of the stench. The dam, which is in a bad state, is nothing short of a gift to the area. Monsoon, raised the water level 3 feet 9 inches high in its water. Earlier the water level was only five feet, now it has risen to 8 feet 9 inches. However, even this water could not carry it until it overflowed.
But it has helped the region to grow greenery. Also, the water level of the wells in the surrounding area has increased. The total filling capacity of the dam is 17 feet. If this dam is completely filled, more than a dozen villages in the area can be fed for a year. Accidents happen every year on religious occasions like Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, but people do not take lessons from them. Its composition can also be seen in Kanota Dam these days. Idols are also immersed in Kanota Dam during the Sharadiya Navratri.
The special thing is that the people who come here go into deep water, ignoring the guidelines and instructions related to the dam, which has neither a barricade nor any security guard to stop it. In such a situation, chaotic elements come here and do acts like drinking, gambling. If the Kanota dam is developed on the lines of Mansagar, then this dam can create new tourism opportunities near Jaipur. However, fisheries are currently practiced in this dam. Thousands of fish die every year due to the arrival of dirty water in the dam,

The extent of negligence has been exceeded, neither the trained staff nor the standards are being met at the centers. In the election of the body, the government is being surrounded by its own people on the manner of selecting the mayor-chairman and other body heads. After taking questions from two cabinet ministers a day ago, now Deputy CM Sachin Pilot has also come down against this decision.
On Friday, the pilot said that the hybrid way of choosing the mayor-chairman was neither discussed in the MLA meeting, nor in the House or Cabinet. If the Minister wants to take this decision under the Municipal Act, it is neither practically correct nor from a political point of view. This decision needs to be changed. It will have a backdoor entry. It will not be a thing to strengthen democracy. The Congress has always said that there should be a direct election, direct engagement with the public.
We had earlier talked about choosing the head of the body directly from the public, but that was changed, but it is wrong to make a mayor-chairman without contesting or winning the councilor's election. Let us know that just a day ago on Thursday, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Ramesh Meena and Transport Minister Pratap Singh Khachariwas also opposed the new rule to be elected Mayor-Chairman. He described it as an injustice to the field workers and councilors who won the elections.
UDH Minister Shanti Dhariwal responded to the Minister, Deputy CM and BJP questioning the methods of election of body heads. He said - On 31 January 2019, the government changed the rule of BJP and implemented the rule to contest the election of the head of the body of any person. Nothing has changed now, only on 16 October 2019, the same notification was issued again during the election. The Department has powers in Rule 3, 5, 6 and 10 of the Rajasthan Municipal Act 2009. These matters do not go to the cabinet at all.
BJP state president Satish Poonia said that the pieces of government are clearly visible. The minister and deputy chief minister are against the government's decision. The house where there is a quarrel is divided. He cannot do good to the public. It is clear from the Deputy Chief Minister's statement that he too was not aware of the decision and neither was discussed in the Cabinet. The government has taken a unilateral decision.
