Search going on for the driver who hit- and – run a 12- year girl in Castro Valley

On Monday afternoon in Castro Valley at the intersection of Crow Canyon Road and Manter Road, a 12- year old girl was hit by a black Ford F-150 truck while she was crossing the road. The image of the truck and video of the accident was provided by a neighbour’s security camera.

Neighbour Anne Ponugoti’s kid noticed the truck when they were walking home from school. "My daughter said it was a Ford, my son said the tires were large, parked on the hill after school, they'd never seen it before," said Ponugoti. The driver is believed to be of an age around 25.

“The two sisters did everything right and waited for the crosswalk signal. The individual made bad choices which impacted people's lives tonight," said CHP Officer Gabe Walters.

Good Samaritan killed in hit-and-run on U.S. Hwy 101

A man, aged 31, from San Francisco man, was lethally hit while attempting to help with an earlier crash early Friday along U.S. Parkway 101 in Redwood City, as indicated by the California Highway Patrol.

Attempted Sexual Assault Suspects Being Searched After Chase Across Bay Bridge

Oakland police were looking for suspects in an endeavored rape after a pursuit over the Bay Bridge into San Francisco, as indicated by a police representative. On Monday, officials reacted to a rape that was reported and included two people equipped with handguns, police said.
