In 2015, Tarun Mathur founded Hamari Pahchan to ensure people in Delhi live a safe and happy life.
Hamari Pahchan is a non-governmental Delhi based NGO which provides a platform for deserving people from all across society and helps them to make their own identity. Our team is filled with a will to contribute towards society at large focusing on making people happier and filled with chances of success.
To live life is a reality, but to earn it is a dream. How often the happy moments of our lives suffice to convince ourselves about the value and meaningfulness of our existence? Many a times. but they are often disrupted by the petty conditions and the deplorable existence of our fellow human beings. Mere realization or the expression of anguish is not enough. In order to identify ourselves, we often associate the appreciation and criticism of our loved ones and thereby rely on them for testimony. HAMARI PAHCHAN intends to widen this exercise of identification. It is not just limited to a specific gender, age group or a particular methodology for conditioning the advancement of this society. Whether it is about women, children, older people, it tries to reach out to everybody and every section of society.
Since its inception in 2015, we have helped educate 11250+ children, help 2000+ women with employment opportunities, distributed 10,000+ menstrual hygiene kits and 1500+ corona kits.
Our relentless efforts have helped us in becoming one of the best NGOs in Delhi. Our projects like the Drishti Project (Educating Children), Sukhad Project (Awareness regarding menstrual hygiene for women, distribution of health kit), Skill Development (Providing employment opportunities to the underprivileged) and initiatives like COVID-19 aid, have proved immensely beneficial to a lot of people. Our team works with a will to elevate people's lives, fulfil their dreams and make them self-reliant which will further accelerate national growth and push the Atma Nirbharta initiative to new heights.
