The Akshaya Patra Foundation (TAPF), registered in Bengaluru, is a voluntary, charitable, secular foundation. The Board of Trustees consists of ISKCON Bengaluru missionaries, business professionals and businessmen.

Madhu Pandit Dasa Chairman, The Akshaya Patra Foundation, Raised in Nagercoil, India, Madhu Pandit Dasa. Armed with a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT-Mumbai, in 1981 he dedicated himself to the service of humanity. In 1994, he launched an integrated rural social development programme in the Mysuru and Mandya districts of Karnataka. He built a conceptual organic farm on 110 acres of land on the banks of the Kaveri River in Srirangapatam, based on environmental farming methods, and an internationally recognized farm training centre. Inspired by Srila Prabhupada's letter of his spiritual guru, he began the Akshaya Patra lunch program with Sh. Mohan Das Pai, to provide the children studying in five government schools in Bengaluru with midday meals. In July 2000, he was instrumental in the construction of Akshaya Patra's first integrated and mechanized kitchen, where poor children could have meals at government schools in the Bengaluru Rural District. He is currently involved in developing strategies for innovative new models, governance, visionary guidance and the way forward for the implementation of the Programme.
Chanchalapathi Dasa Vice Chairman, The Akshaya Patra Foundation
Chanchalapathi Dasa, popularly known as the "CPP," has completed his Masters of Electrical Communications Technology at the Bengaluru Indian Institute of Science. After his graduation, he followed Srila Prabhupada's teachings and worked with Madhu Pandit Dasa to carry on the mission together. He was a full-time member to fulfill his spiritual guru Srila Prabhupada's vision and aspiration. He has been involved in the cause since 1984 and currently participates in Akshaya Patra's strategy, growth and governance.
Abhay Jain Advisor–Group Corporate Affairs - Manipal Education & Medical Group Abhay Jain has served as the foundation's trustee since it was founded. He was born in Rajasthan, India and graduated in science from St. Joseph's College and from the University of Bangalore, where he earned his bachelor of law. He also holds a PG Administration Diploma. He is one of South India's biggest producers of polymers and was Vice President of the Birla Group of Corporations. He is currently Advisor, Corporate Affairs Group, Manipal Education & Medical Group and Board Member-University of Jain, Bengaluru. The Foundation can benefit from the impressive networking skills it brings to the table.
Jaganmohan Krishna Dasa Trustee, The Akshaya Patra Foundation, Jaganmohan Krishna Dasa was born in Andhra Pradesh's Prakasham district. He holds a Bachelor of Electronics and Communication Engineering degree. In 2005, Akshaya Patra was appointed Program Coordinator for Jaipur Unit, where he engaged from the beginning in kitchen development. He also participated in the operations of Vrindavan and Gujarat and assisted the development and execution of kitchen projects for Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara and Nathdwara. Jaganmohan Krishna Dasa has a keen faculty of design and innovation and has implemented several development initiatives in the kitchens of Akshaya Patra. He has studied and implemented innovative alternatives from Germany and Sweden with the latest in food technology. He currently serves as President of the Gujarat district of Akshaya Patra.
V. Balakrishnan, Founder & Chairman, Exfinity Venture, V. Balakrishnan joined the Board of Trustees of Akshaya Patra in June 2006. He currently serves as president of the audit committee of Akshaya Patra. He has considerable experience in management positions in the area of accounting and corporate finance, international taxation, risk management and fusions and acquisitions. He's also a founder and chairman of Exfinity, a private equity fund that focuses in creative space acquisitions. He is also President of MicroGraam, a forum for peer-to-peer financing that allows rural enterprises to receive socially minded investors ' loans. Mr Balakrishnan's got a B.Sc. Madras.
University is an Associate Member of the Indian Chartered Accountants Institute, Indian Cost and Works Institute and Indian Secretary Institute of Company. A winner of the CNBC and Accounting Asia ' Best CFO ' award.
T.V. Mohandas Pai, Chairman, Manipal Global Education Services
Since its founding, Mohandas Pai has been a trustee of the Akshaya Patra Foundation. He is also Member of the Manipal Global Education Services Private Limited https://www.getcompanydetails.com/company/manipal-global-education-services-private-limited-U74140KA2001PTC029678 Board and Consultant with Manipal Education and Medical Group. He interfaces actively with key Indian regulatory leaders in order to improve the business ecosystem. He works on schooling, information technology and the development of human capital. One of his many laurels is Finance Asia's ' Best CFO in India ' award in 2002. He is not only a strategic visionary of the Foundation, but also a donor patron.
