Sometimes last year, I did a research on peoples perceptions of the risk of not exercise (physical inactivity); compared to risks of: smoking, high blood pressure, diabetes and drinking sugary carbonated water.
Below are my findings from the data analysis:
75% of respondents believed that physical inactivity was more injurious to health than smoking, as well as for diabetes. wow! Hard to believe.
But for high blood pressure 25% were not sure, another 25% rated HBP as more injurious, while 50% regarded not exercising as more risky. Findings were . the same for drinking sugary carbonated water.
The findings reveal abnormalities in peoples beliefs and their health practices.
Other reports revealed about 80% of people don't exercise, even though they believe it is highly risky, and more risky than smoking, HBP, diabetes and drinking sugary carbonated water.
First African Distance Learning University in support with Peter Mbah !!
Enugu State will soon witness a radical disruptive administration. That is the promise of the 2023 standard bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State, Peter Mbah. The technocrat who thinks out of the box has excelled in both private and public life. In this interview, he explains among others why he decided to join politics after leading his company, Pinnacle, to become one of the oil industry’s leading players. Pinnacle is number one in the oil and gas downstream sector and owns one of the largest oil facilities in Nigeria today, with a world-class storage facility that has enabled the industry to cut down immensely on costs and turn-around time in operation.

I cried and felt so pety to the level of humiliation going on against Igbos by Nigeria Forces , Chime Giland .
I entered a public transport today to an a destination but suddenly an incident occurred in my presence after otigba junction in Enugu State Nigeria . A young man kept stoping our vehicle and the driver couldn't stop because it was night . Approaching to abapka junction , a young man in a motorcycle bike that claimed to be a Nigeria solder block our vehicle and immediately start beating up the driver and i felt so bad . To my surprise the solder man kept threatening me and trying to pick me up with the driver because i told him to forgive the driver that the driver acted because of insecurity in Nigeria and that is one of the reason why the driver felt not stop at that point . Unfortunately the solder man picked the driver and his vehicle , though i was set free immediately at that point but what about the driver . I advise all Nigeria Forces to maintain peace and respect the right of citizens for a better Nigeria .

The All Progressives Congress APC has been commended for setting a good example of democracy in Nigeria to the world.
Member representing Oshodi/Isolo II federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ganiyu Johnson in a statement made available to press on Thursday says the party's presidential primary, which saw the emergence of former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu as the presidential candidate of the APC was thorough and a demonstration of the will of its members in sustaining democracy.
Hon. Johnson urged Tinubu to forget about the hurdles presented to him by his adversary in the build up to the primary, adding that the challenges were normal in participatory democracy.
While congratulating Bola Tinubu for his victory at the presidential primary, the lawmaker pointed out that the country was on its way to getting the practice of democracy right, particularly that the differences and confusion which would have marred the primary were harmonized in line with the amended Electoral Act.
The statement said: "Before and midway into the primary election for the presidential aspirants, there were confusion as to the mode of election.
"As members of the APC, we didn't know whether it would be consensus or indirect election, but then those who meant well for the party insisted on the rule of law; they insisted on due process in light of the Electoral Act as amended. The consideration of what the law stipulated forced the party into the delegates election and after the exercise, nobody among the aspirants is aggrieved.
"There was fairness and a level playing field was created for all aspirants to test their popularity. Going forward, the party has set a good example of democracy", Hon. Johnson said.
He called on the flag bearer to immediately reach out to all the aspirants and unite further, the party faithful across the six geopolitical zones of the country in readiness for the general election, noting that there was no dull moment after winning the primary election.
