OBSTACLES IN THE WAY OF AN UNDERGRADUATE 1
Yesterday we were told to buy a textbook of 7,000 and pay up our fees of 60,000.
Called family at home but they didn't have any.
My friends were also from a poor home.
I am in 200level business admin, first child of a poor pastor. My father has never touched 60,000 that is his,my first year was paid through a loan which my father is still paying. Called my rich uncles last night and heard the same thing "No money now Amara, find where you can get the money, we will pay back". Same lie they told my Dad in 100 level. How would we make this payment in 2 weeks.
Took a walk this morning, where I met a man named Chief obi. He said he liked me and wanted to be my friend, he promised to take care of me and that he had nothing in mind except that I reminded him of his daughter but we all know how Nigerian so called friends are(signs) (raising tone slightly) I want to marry a virgin but I really have no option, or time as he wants to see me tomorrow and you know Nigerian guys don't like doing the chasing.... To be continued tomorrow
