Local gov’t issued photocopying machines to speed up learning modules production amid pandemic

The Office of Sto. Tomas City Mayor has lent its local teaching force 32 units of photocopying machines and 986 units of external HDD in order to speed up production and distribution of learning modules during this pandemic.

Said equipment sought to help students without internet connection and financial means to be given copies of learning materials. Distribution transpired through officers of the Department of Education (DepEd) residing in the City.

Currently, students are not allowed for face to face learning as a prevention for further spread of the infectious disease COVID 19.

Sto. Tomas, Mayor Edna P. Sanchez, along with Administrator Salvador Geling, Dr. Guillerma Bilog, and Dr. Olive Deocariza of DedEd Sto. Tomas -North and South Districts, directly returned the lent equipment to the Office of the City Mayor in Oct. 2.
