Nations United is a non-profit organisation that looks to focus upon various issues that must be overcome, including investing time and resources into education, bringing forward new opportunities to those without academic advantages, and ending the battle for clean water globally. Nations United works across the globe, with the aim of producing a happier, healthier and safer life for all.

The food sector is another area of focus. Nations united looks to provide food packages to as many people as possible, raising nutritional standards of those in dire need across the world. On top of this, we also provide help in the housing sector through assisting people with finding opportunities in the housing industry that may have been impossible for them before, aiding the homeless to find accommodation, and fighting to support those in need. Nations United is here to assist.

At Nations United, we are well aware of the challenges faced by individuals and communities, globally. Thus, focus is also placed upon, and not limited to assisting people with mental health challenges and combatting the cruelness of cancer. Many of the issues faced are linked and we stand united to fight against these.

Haris Ali is the Founder and Chairman of Nations United, A Non-Profit organisation. Throughout his professional life Haris has been exceedingly engaged in the textile manufacturing and retail industry for 15 years. He Obtained the Degree of (BSc Hons) International Business and Management from Aston University UK and has worked for UniCredit, Citibank, Ernst & Young and Cisco as a Management Consultant. Haris is helping organisations solve issues, create value, maximise growth and improve business performance. He is deeply skilled in relation to business growth and provides objective advice and expertise to organisations, in order to develop any specialist skills that they may be lacking.

With his vast experience with globally leading organisations in terms of developing sustainable economies in communities, Haris is empowering the youth to take action on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, to help end global poverty and ensure everyone can thrive both in the present and future. With a focus upon community welfare, Haris is an expert in corporate social responsibility and is consistently working towards developing manners in which the living standards of communities can be enhanced. Mr. Shoaib Habib Memon is a Co-Founder/CEO Nations United (Non-Profit Organisation), Freelance Social Worker, Global Goodwill Ambassador, Entrepreneur and a Global Citizen. Mr. Memon is a Pakistani citizen and resident of District Thatta, Province Sindh. He obtained the degree of M.A (Economics) and LLB from the University of Sindh. He’s worked with many charity organisations such as the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD), Merlin International UK, and ITA Pakistan. Mr. Memon is also a United Nations Volunteer, having attended many training sessions with UNICEF and WFP regarding Health and Nutrition. In addition to this Mr. Memon owns and operates a successful business in his hometown.

Mr. Shoaib Habib Memon received a “Book for Peace” award From FUNVIC Foundation (FUNVIC UNESCO CLUB Brasile, member BFUCA WFUCA) in Italy on 21 September 2019 and is regularly involved in volunteer charity work for poverty-stricken and neglected families. Mr. Memon supports deserving families and orphaned children with food and humanitarian projects, such as installation of hand pumps and wells for clean drinking water, supporting students in financial need, providing clothing and shelter, Women’s empowerment initiatives, and support to impoverished and disabled patients. International think tank Institute of Peace and Development (INSPAD) proudly awarded Mr. Memon as World Humanitarian Excellence Award 2020

Our AIM battles poverty and pandemic in rural Pakistan

The Thar Desert in Pakistan is among the most densely-populated regions in the world. It is also one of the most impoverished regions, as well. In Pakistan, around 30% of people live in abject poverty, and in the region in which Our AIM works, that percentage is much higher – near 70%.

Poverty, lack of education, unreliable access to hygienic sanitation facilities and medical treatment have made the Covid pandemic hit even harder. We at Our AIM distribute food and clothing to some of the poorest families in the Thatta region. So far, we have supplied over 70,000 meals for the poor in Pakistan.

Malnutrition is a common ailment for the children who make it into medical clinics. Still, many don't receive medical treatment. We are attempting to change that, by bringing doctors and nurses into Our AIM Foundation's site, where we are building our next Holistic Community Center. At the site, Pakistani villagers will be able to receive sanitary medical supplies, including sanitary pads for women, regular check-ups, and free prescription medication.

In addition, we have created more than 250 borewells to supply fresh, clean water for villagers. Fetching water from a distance was cumbersome and difficult for all women of village in Sindh Pakistan. After the installation of the bore well, one resident says: “Now women do not need to go at a distance to the fetch water, it's available to them right around the corner. This makes them feel much more comfortable. The installation of Hand pump has enhanced our courage and morale."

We at Our AIM distribute food and clothing to some of the poorest families in the region, but many in the Sindh region still go without. In the region that Thatta sits, more than 70% of people live in abject poverty. The HCC in Pakistan is currently under construction here as well, and promises to bring all the benefits of our Malawian HCC to the people of the Thar Desert once complete, including improved education, medical treatment, women's empowerment. training, and more..

В Казани росгвардейцы выполнили задачи по обеспечению безопасности во время празднования Дня России

Военнослужащие казанского специального моторизованного полка Приволжского округа Росгвардии, бойцы ОМОН «Ак Барс» и сотрудники вневедомственной охраны Росгвардии по Республике Татарстан выполнили задачи по обеспечению безопасности жителей и гостей республики во время праздничных мероприятий, посвященных Дню России.

Традиционно, наиболее массовым местом проведения праздничных мероприятий для жителей и гостей столицы республики стала площадка возле центра семьи «Казан», где побывало около 35 тысяч человек. Помимо концерта с участием творческих коллективов и артистов эстрады там было организовано множество развлекательных зон. Завершилось мероприятие красочным салютом над акваторией реки Казанки.

Задачи по охране общественного порядка и обеспечению безопасности во время праздничных мероприятий выполнили военнослужащие казанского специального моторизованного полка Приволжского округа ВНГ России, сотрудники вневедомственной охраны и бойцы ОМОН «Ак Барс» Управления Росгвардии по Республике Татарстан во взаимодействии с сотрудниками МВД по РТ и работниками частных охранных организаций.

Благодаря совместной работе Росгвардии и МВД, при участии работников ЧОО, грубых нарушений общественного порядка и безопасности не допущено.

Meet the 78 years old High school graduate Ted Sams...

It was a joyfull moment for Ted Sams (78) and his family when he finally walked on stage to receive his high school diploma sixty years after he missed his 1962 graduation because of some teenage mischief and $4.80 (E3.40) overdue library fine he owed at his former school.

During his high school days, Ted and a friend were in a photography class when they were caught by the vice principal for photographing people without their consent and Ted was later suspended, leading to him missing the final exam and graduation. While he tried keeping up with his studies by attending summer school, Ted then found that he couldn't get his diploma because of the overdue library fine book.

“So I just walked away from it and said, 'Forget it',” he says.

In 2022, after much persuasion from his family Ted joined San Gabriel California High school in Los Angeles and got his high school diploma

Sams says he never expected to be back in high school 60 years later after he dropped out. He recounted how he would repeatedly complain to his children how a meagre $4.80 kept him from having a degree.

His daughter Sherry then suprised him by asking San Gabriel High in Los Angeles for a reprint of his diploma so he can attend graduation.

Luckily for him, the school hasn't thrown away the diploma and It was kept in a box, in senior archives.

In 27 May, Ted received an invitation from the school to be part of the graduation ceremony. The ceremony was attended by his wife and five children.

Even though it has been a long hard road, Ted says attaining his diploma has been a great achievement for him and the graduation was one of the highlights of his life.

“Actually, when he walked and got his diploma, every person on that stage hugged him and then the whole class applauded for him,” Sherry says.

Although the $4.80 fine hasn't been paid, Ted is now a graduate of San Gabriel High School's class of 2022.
