Art influences society by changing ideas, instilling values and translating experiences into the universe and time. Research has shown that art affects the basic sense of self. Painting, sculpture, music, books and other arts are often regarded as the place of public memory.

The artists give the world a sense of joy, collaboration, and inspiration, but also provide perceived criticism of our political, economic and social systems - pushing communities to actively engage and take steps towards social development.
