I believe that everyone in this world does acquire knowledge whether it’s by informal way from our elders, ancestors or by the formal way like going to school, college, university, etc.

Why do we acquire knowledge, how does it help us in our daily life?

We acquire knowledge on what we believe in future we shall thrive to become someone in our lives. We all have a goal and target on what we wish to become in the future, and not only are some of us still researching more options on what we want to become in the future.

It is excellent as you may get hundreds of opinions, but in the end, there will be only one opinion which will be the best of all and education in our daily life helps us both in our career and life as well.

To have a promising career, you need to get an education first. Education shows us the importance of hard work and thus helps us grow and develop in our life, and it allows us to differentiate between many things, including right and wrong, good and bad, etc.

*Forgiveness* is a worth voluntary action. After someone deeply hurts us in our daily life, forgiveness is a remedy we mostly choose when we ready to move on and especially when the love in our hearts speaks louder than temporary hate.

In a world where *revenge* seems at peak and it brings more satisfaction and relief to people, it takes courage and strength to opt for forgiveness, said *a priest in a homily.*

*As a matter of fact* experience reveals that, many people have complicated feelings about apologies and not all our thoughts and feelings about apologies *[forgiveness]* line up.

And that's why, to some people, an apology often feels like an admission that they are inadequate that, rather than having done a mistake, there is something wrong with them while some people feel ashamed until they are done with an apology.

I was very impressed by a quotation stating that, to forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that, the prisoner was you.

When reflecting the said quotation, I therefore, recalled some situations in our childhood where most of us were forced to apologize after hurting someone or after doing something wrong.

Most of us apologized freely and left immediately better after having done so. If the outcome of our forced apologies made us feel far better, then why don't we turn forgiveness into a *living custom* in order to have a constant inner peace throughout our life??

One of my best friends argues that, if forgiveness is of such importance, are the courts, laws and prisons useless??

There is actually a taste of reality in that argument, but it is not right in the eyes of molarity and that's why, there is a *Korean idiom* stating that, forgiveness says you are given another chance to make a new beginning.

*To tell you the truth* no matter how badly people treat you, never drop to their levels. Just choose to forgive them in order to set yourself free from a prison of hate, revenge and grudges because they are too heavy for a good heart.

*In most circumstances* those who have a courage to forgive others, are presumed to be stronger than those who cannot. And that's why, the weak can never forgive, forgiveness is the attribute of the strong, said the late *Mahatma Ghandhi*

The challenge is, the only downfall of having a good heart is that, you are constantly looking for angels inside of demons. And, they wonder why the good knows so much pain. And that's why, forgiveness should never be an excuse of hurting others for when an action is repeated after an apology, it becomes a habit.

Forgiveness warms the heart and cools the sting therein. Just say *I'm sorry and they will listen to your story* That's the beauty of forgiveness.

When we say relationship, what first comes to our mind is the connection between people and how people are connected.

Relationship means how two or more people or things are connected or related to each other by either blood or marriage or in different ways. In this world, in our society, people are related to each other in many ways, either by blood or marriage or by the relation love, friendship, hatred, humanity, etc.

We are connected and are in a relationship with each other, whether it's husband and wife, sister and brother, son/daughter and parents, etc.

Relationships are very delicate and sensitive. We must always be careful not to break them just due to a silly misunderstanding or a fight over a minor issue. They are very precious; take care of them because it is most painful for you to lose them when a person you know becomes a person you knew.

Relationships are very valuable (precious); only for those people that are fortunate to have them, to have someone who takes care, is concerned about them, love them, and were, is, and will always be there for them no matter what happens will always stand beside them.

Every relationship starts with being a stranger, full of excitement, joy, and long-time life commitments and promises.

When people get into relationships, they are always strangers to each other, and later on, they start knowing each other. That relationship begins turning out very precious for them, and every relationship is based on trust between each other.

Trust is the faith you have in someone that they will always remain loyal to you; to trust someone means you can rely on them and are comfortable confiding in them because you feel safe with them.

Trust is the building block for any relationship without which the foundation will always remain shaky, fall apart, won't survive, and tend to break within no time.

A good and healthy relationship is how PEACE, LOVE, RESPECT, and DIGNITY are maintained.

The leading five pillars of a healthy relationship are:

Ego has a role in spoiling relationships try avoiding having ego in relationships, EGO is a small three-letter word that can destroy a big twelve-letter word called RELATIONSHIP.

In the case of any problem, both parties should try and sit with each other alone and try to solve them amongst themselves. I believe that every situation has a solution, and that solution is hidden in the problem; we only have to find it, and I think it's possible.

Guys, please value your relations no matter how many difficulties arise but don't ever give up try to solve them and don't let the relationship fall apart. Most don't ever humiliate or insult that relationship. Try to handle them with care and love. You'll see everything will be possible and always have patience and in case of anything try and apologize to make the relationship more stronger.

WHAT IS CULTURE?

Culture means ideas, customs and social behavior of particular people, society and community, encompassing language, religion, cuisine, social habits, music, arts and etc. Culture encompasses everything we do in our life daily, what we wear, how we dress up, what we believe (whether it’s right or wrong), how we behave with people and etc.

In our society through culture, people and groups define themselves, accept the society’s shared values and traditions and contribute more to the society. Each society has different culture, religion, tradition and etc, but it depends on us on how we believe and follow it.

Believing in the traditions, rituals, customs is not bad but sometimes some people tend to have excessive beliefs and that too which are false and superstitious.

Superstitions means a belief or practice that is not based on reason or scientific thinking, neither is scientifically proved nor is based on scientific knowledge or human reasons which are not true but still people just believe it as they think it makes them feel good or bad luck, for example people believe in a particular number which brings luck to them or if by wearing particular colour clothes may bring luck.

I am not trying to hurt anyone or insult anyone’s culture, beliefs, but I just want to make people understand the difference between superstition and reality.

The truth is before we came to this world the Almighty had already written our destiny and if anything good or bad would happen with us meant it was already written and whatever happens has a reason behind and we should not blame anyone for the things happen in our lives but we should have hope and trust in ourselves and on Almighty. Believing and following our culture is not bad but do not exceed it and believing in something which is not reality.

Religion is organized beliefs, practices and systems that relates to believing and worship of a controlling natural force/power, the one who created the universe, who created us, nurtured us and brought us to this universe, provided us all the needs and gave us such lovely parents that take care of us. The only person always there with us in our problems, sorrows and happiness is none other than the Almighty God.

In this world everyone has their own religion; worships their own religion and believes in them, for examples of religions are Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, Buddhism and etc.

WHAT IS LIFE ? According to science, life is a concept in biology regarding the characteristics, state, or mode that separates a living thing from dead matter. I believe life means to live/be alive and to enjoy it fully as we live only once. Most people set goals or target in their life and some live only to fulfill their goals/targets and some find hope in those goals which makes them feel worth living despite problems, difficulties, challenges and failures. Most people in life get such pain they never expected or imagined and these pain affects their mental health which also makes them have negative thoughts in their mind, such as suicidal thoughts, harming themselves, ending their lives or running away from problems but in amidst they still try to find hope by giving themselves a chance and setting up goals/targets for themselves which makes them busy with responsibilities and helps overcome the pain, feeling bad or getting more hurt and this happens only if the person is strong and dedicated. Miracles do happen when the person has decided to change their thoughts and also, when someone loved one or stranger helps them get out of this pain. Life is really unpredictable, there are times we never imagine things happening all of a sudden and we get shocked but we should learn on how to face or overcome these problems very bravely and not by running away from them as running away since that is not the solution, every problem has a solution in it but we only have to find the right solution. The only truth to overcome challenges/problems in life is to let go, forgive yourself, forgive the situation, and to accept that the situation is over; you will never be able to move forward. Example of problem mostly people face in life: People in life face a lot of problems so for example, Most of the times I won’t differentiate that mostly it’s a girl but I will say most of the times it’s a girl sometimes or a boy they get pain and betrayal in love or after marriage they face a lot of problems due to which their heart breaks but this doesn’t literally mean that it’s the end of life right ? NO!!! It’s not the end of life people it’s the beginning of life right from here from this heart break or the pain you got you learn a lesson that we must not love someone so blindly, I am not saying that we must not love or fall in love with anyone but to fall in love its fine and marry the person you love its good you will stay happy with the love of your life rather than in forced marriage but I am saying don’t trust them so blindly or don’t just listen to them only or their decisions both as a couple are supposed to discuss on anything before making any decisions and agree on it you both deserve to take decisions together and if both of you are agreeing on it without any force then take a step ahead but example if after marriage the boy says to the girl that you are my wife then you are supposed to listen to me and I am telling you leave your job/career/dreams and be a house wife and take care of the house only No!!!!! ,why should a girl or the wife always sacrifice or make adjustments , Let me tell you guys change your mentality/thinking especially for a girl you have married her and brought her as a wife and not as a slave that she is supposed to just agree with whatever you say, in a marriage trust  and understanding should be not only from the girls/boys side but from both the sides and both should make adjustments and sacrifices only then the relationship will be equal and will balance and love will increase more and relationship will be more stronger, in our country or in this world divorces happen as there is no understanding and each partner is trying to make the other partner down if both partners understand each other well and trust each other then relationship will be more strong and they can defeat all the problems together bravely. So this was just a small example but I would just like to say that life is all about moving on if we keep losing hope in small failures then we will never be able to succeed at the end of the life if not for yourself think about your family and if you don’t have family then think for someone very close to you and move on and live your life happily and accomplish your dreams. “I demolish my bridges behind me – then there is no choice but to move forward.” “There are things that we never want to let go of, people we never want to leave behind, But keep in mind that letting go isn't the end of the world, it's the beginning of a new life.” “When the going gets tough, the tough get going."  I WISH  EVERYONE ALL THE BEST FOR YOUR FUTURE, I HOPE THE DECISIONS YOU WILL TAKE HENCEFROTH WILL BE WISE.



Is ‘ARSON’ Emerging Terrorism in Tanzania?

Introduction

The use of fire by terrorists as a strategic weapon to target the population and instill fear, hatred, property devastation, economic losses, and attract press attention is not something new. As Jenkins said in 1974, "terrorist attacks are usually choreographed to attract the attention of the international press and local media, therefore terrorism is theatre." During the past five decades, the world has experienced several "set fires" that were done intentionally by terrorist groups against the government and civilian population. On March 25th, 1990, an arsonist was reported by the U.S. who set the fire intentionally at the Happy Land Night Club, which caused heavy destruction and the deaths of several people.

ISIS publicly asserted in May 2019 that they were responsible for a series of wildfires, including the destruction and death toll of the 2018 California inferno. In recent years, a number of wildfires have occurred around the world, notably the forest fires in Turkey in 2021, which the Turkish government and citizens blamed on the PKK terrorist organization. As a form of vengeance against Turkey's government, the PKK terrorist organization is infamous for setting fire to Turkey's forests, resulting in civilian deaths and environmental harm. Wildfires in Australia, Greece, and other countries have all had comparable instances.

Is the United Republic of Tanzania at significant threat of arson-terrorist attacks?

Arson is an easy and cheap terror tactic that terrorists use with the intent of causing fear, economic depression, and potential casualties. Arson gives a chance to terror groups and movements that are searching for low-cost, low-skill, and efficient methods of attack to cause casualties and economic losses while putting the population, government, and security officials on the margin of when and where the secret fire setting will occur next. It is also a prime tactic for groups that want to remain anonymous while pushing their agenda and avoid raising suspicion by using firearms. Factory buildings, schools, markets, universities, banks, apartment buildings, churches, forests, and other business structures are apparently common targets for arson.

In Tanzania, increasing fire events have wreaked havoc on the civilian population, national security, and government authorities. Since 2020, the country has experienced multiple fire occurrences in various regions, resulting in deaths, serious property damage, injuries, and economic devastation among the civilian population and government.

Surprisingly, such events continue to rise on a daily basis. More than six major fire events have been reported in the country in less than six months, all of which occurred suddenly in business structures, religious institutions, schools, bars, hotels, and tourist places, causing irreparable damage. With regard to security investigations, officials state that the majority of fires are the result of negligence and faulty electrical wiring, although some investigation findings are still pending. (See, for example, Karume market fire-2022, Kariakoo market fire-2021, Fire in 4 Tourist Zanzibar Hotels-2021, Mount Kilimanjaro fire-2021, etc).

But, isn't it more than just negligence and poor wiring that the government and security officials should be more wary of now, following a string of inexplicable fire occurrences that the country is currently experiencing? I hope that the current fire breakout at Karume market serves as a timely reminder to the leadership and security of the United Republic of Tanzania that the continual outbreak of fire incidents in the country is something that must not be taken lightly.

Conclusion

A complete understanding of fire as a weapon is key when addressing this emerging threat. It is also important to note that fire is an appealing weapon that terrorists prefer to use for many reasons. The security officials must broaden their investigation to meet the issue with high intelligence, which will necessitate new policies and partnerships. Security officials must rethink the way they have approached this emerging threat from the beginning with an open mind in order to develop an effective course of action and strategies to countermeasure the situation before it’s too late. It's also worth noting that terrorists often use fire attacks as a way to divert the government's and security attention away from their larger plans. Finally, it's important to remember that terrorism's essence and goal are both political.

WHAT IS LIFESTYLE?

Lifestyle is the interests, opinions, behaviors, and behavioral orientations of an individual, group, or culture.

In short I can say lifestyle is the way or style of living including your styles, behavior, attitudes, daily activities etc

The society we live in we normally see different lifestyles of people the way they live, behave, work and the way they dress up etc. Some people in the society live traditionally like old times while some have changed to modern lifestyles, it’s not bad that some still live like old times traditionally instead it’s good that people live according to the way they are comfortable, but we must have a good lifestyle like having good meal (Balanced Diet), physical activities, anger management, be hardworking and not lazy etc, this is called healthy and good lifestyle.

Lifestyle is a reflection who you are; our lifestyle communicates a clear message about who we are and how we think. It tells people or gives them a clear message about how we live, dress up, talk, appearance, work etc. It’s not that people judge you by it just shows them that what kind of a person you are maybe disciplined, punctual, hardworking and etc.

But sometimes in our society there are some people who just look at our lifestyles and starts judging us without knowing anything who we are, where are we from etc that is not right completely the way we don’t have the right to judge them or anyone similarly the same way they or anyone else has no right to judge us.

We may be not working or having career but that doesn’t mean we are useless, sometimes for example in most of the societies girls are judged when they wear short clothes this doesn’t mean that they don’t belong to a good family or they aren’t decent No!! ,That’s how they are comfortable and no one has the right to judge them.

“DON’T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER.”

Never ever judge a person by their outer appearance, for example a person maybe short, tall, fat, thin, black or white, some are fast learners while some are slow learners but don’t laugh on them or make fun of them or judge them, respect them if you want to be respected in English we also say

“TREAT PEOPLE THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED.”

 So never judge a person by their outer appearance because that’s how the Almighty God has made them, the way five fingers are not the same the same way everyone is not the same God has made everyone different and every person has some special talent inside them, I always think and feel people shouldn't look down on themself, learn to be confident and brave as they are capable of facing all the challenges and problems alone no matter how difficult the situation can be, no matter if someone stands beside you or not. 

In short “JUDGING A PERSON DOES NOT DEFINE WHO THEY ARE, IT DEFINES WHO YOU ARE.”

It doesn’t matter how people appear from outside what matters is that how they are from inside, their heart, their intentions if that is clean then it doesn’t matter by their outer appearance, for example sometimes though a person dresses up simple but his or her intentions are not good they just pretend to be good but they are not good so that’s why it’s said outer appearance doesn’t matter, in this society mostly girls face a lot of problems because of some people, like some orthodox minded people refuse their children especially girls to persuade their career and get married early, to stop dressing up their way just because of the fear of society and stop girls from going out alone.

This is not the time to stop or put restrictions on children whether it’s a girl or boy it’s the time to support them if they want to do something like proceed their educations, build their career first before getting married it’s not that you should support them in everything even if they are wrong No if they are wrong calmly and peacefully explain them that they are wrong and some parents put restrictions because their children’s are wrong Nope if u put restrictions directly without giving them a second chance then like that they will never learn and will continue doing wrong.

Trust yourself and your upbringing dear parents or guardians.

We should learn on how to have full faith on our children’s and we should try and treat our children equal whether it’s a girl or a boy because times have changed now those times are gone where girls were treated less than boys now it’s the time where girls are not less than boys but equal to boys and more capable than the boys so first change your thinking so you can change the worlds thinking.

Let’s not wait anyone else to make us realize about this lets realize ourselves and instead make others also realize only then the world will get more developed.

Dear people instead of wasting your time in judging people, fighting etc unite and live together as a whole society, make your relationships so stronger that even misunderstandings cannot ruin or destroy your relations.

So guys stop sleeping and stand up and improve yourself and make a new version of yourself that will shock everyone.

No matter what difficulties, challenges arise in your path always say this to yourself that I can do it.

Never think yourself less than anyone and stand up for your rights don’t let your rights be deprived always stand up for your rights and for the truth.

Mramba: Asasi za kiraia hakikisheni takwimu na taarifa sahihi ili kufikia malengo

KAMISHNA wa Umeme na Nishati Jadidifu Felcchesmi Mramba amezitaka Asasi za Kiraia kuhakikisha uwepo takwimu na taarifa sahihi na zile zilizopo upande wa serikali ili kuepuka kuwapo na tofauti kubwa ambazo zinaweza sababisha kutokufikia malengo yao.

Hayo ameyasema jijini Dodoma hivi karibuni wakati akifungua warsha ya Jukwaa la Asasi za kiraia za nishati endelevu iliyolenga kujadili maboresho ya Sera na mikakati ya uendelezaji nishati jadidifu ili kupunguza matumizi ya nishati zenye athari kwenye mazingira kwa niaba ya Waziri wa Nishati January Makamba.

Mramba amesema kuwa amefarijika kujumuika na asasi hizo za kiraia katika majadiliano muhimu ambayo yanalenga uboreshaji wa Sera na mpango kuhusu uendelezaji wa nishati hiyo pamoja na matumizi ya nishati safi ya kupikia (Clean Cooking energy.

Amesema maeneo hayo ni muhimu kwa mustakbali wa uchumi wa nchi na afya za wananchi wake ambao ni nguzo ya uzalishaji mali na maendeleo nchi kwa ujumla.

" Kulingana na takwimu za taarifa ya hali ya gesi joto (Green House Geses), nchini kiwango cha utoaji gesi kwa mwaka 2014 kilikuwa ni tani 286.45 za hewa ya ukaa zikichangiwa na sekta za matumizi ya ardhi na misitu, kilimo, nishati, taka za Viwanda ambazo ni asilimia 1.6 tu kilitokana na uzalishaji wa nishati," amesema Mramba.

Ameeleza kuwa pamoja na mchango huo kuonekana ni kidogo sekta ya nishati inachangia kwa kiwango kikubwa katika uzalishaji hewa ya ukaa cha asilimia 72.7 katika sekta ya matumizi ya ardhi na misitu kutokana na matumizi ya mkaa na kuni kwa ajili ya upatikanaji wa nishati ya kupikia.

Mramba ameongeza kuwa ili kupunguza kiasi hicho ni kuhakikisha sekta ya nishati inachangia upunguzaji wa hewa ukaa nchini kati ya asilimia 30 hadi 35 kufikia mwaka 2030.

Awali Mkurugenzi wa Shirika la Kuendeleza Nishati Asili Tanzania (TaTEDO), Estomih Sawe amesema wanaipongeza serikali kwa juhudi za kufanya mapitio ya Sera ya Nishati ya mwaka 2003 iliyolenga kutatua changamoto zilizohusu uwekezaji wa sekta binafsi na umma kwenye

vyanzo vya nishati jadidifu kupitia Sera ya Nishati ya mwaka 2015.

Amesema mapitio yao ya sera na miongozo mbalimbali na majadiliano na wadau wa nishati yameibua

masuala kadhaa ya kisera ambayo wangependa kumshirikisha mgeni rasmi.

Mkurugenzi huyo ameyataja baadhi ya masula ambayo wameona yanamapungufu ni pamoja na Sera ya Taifa ya Nishati ya mwaka 2015, inamapungufu ya kutokuwa na nyenzo

za utekelezaji ikiwemo mikakati na mifumo ya kisheria na utekelezaji.

" Ili kuongeza ufanisi katika utekelezaji wa sera hii, nyenzo kama vile

Sheria, Mkakati, Mipango ya utekelezaji, miongozo, Kanuni na mifumo ya

usimamizi, fedha na ufuatiliaji inahitajika kuwepo," ameshauri Sawe.

Sawe amesema manufaa ya kuwa na nyenzo hizo za utekelezaji wa sera, zitavutia na kuongeza kiu ya uwekezaji wa sekta binafsi na umma katika nishati jadidifu nchini.

Ameongeza kuwa Sera ya Taifa ya Nishati ya mwaka 2015 haijajipambanua kwa uwazi namna itakavyoshughulikia changamoto za nishati ya kupikia na kusema kuwa Sera ingepaswa kushughulikia kwa mapana vyanzo vyote vya nishati vyenye manufaa ya kiuchumi

vinavyopatikana nchini ili kukidhi mahitaji ya nishati kwa wote kwa matumizi ya

majumbani na shughuli za kiuchumi.

"Kwa sasa nishati ya tungamotaka inachangia zaidi ya asilimia 85 ya

matumizi yote ya nishati nchini.

Na Sera ya Taifa ya mwaka 2015 na utekelezaji wake havijatoa kipaumbele na kutoa fursa kwa vyanzo vya nishati jadidifu kuweza kuvutia uwekezaji wa serikali na sekta binafsi.

WHAT IS EQUALITY?

When we say equality what do we mean by this, it does not only mean to be equal but this eight letter word may seem really small word but its meaning is really very deep, the real meaning of equality is the state which actually expresses the two quantities, people, things etc are fair enough with each other, no favoritism with one, absolutely equal with each other.

In most of our societies we see that still despite being in the modern era there are some communities who still aren’t treating people equally and rightfully, they don’t treat them nicely and if they treat them nicely then their thinking about them will not be equal like others.

For example when we talk about equality the first thing which comes in my mind is about Gender Equality.

Gender Equality is known as Equality of the Sexes, male and female. We still see in other countries, communities, societies where they differentiate between male and female, where some orthodox people despite being in the modern era still differentiate between a male and a female in the name of traditions, customs and culture.

There are still some people who think that if a women will study, be educated at the end she will get married and will end up in the kitchen cooking, house chores etc their thinking is that women are made for kitchen work only but I really feel bad for such people who still think like that because they are not lying to others but they are lying to themselves.

In order to balance our life very nicely equality amongst both the gender is really very important because if equality is there then both the genders will understand each other very nicely and one will not try to make the other down and due to this there will be very less misunderstandings and more understanding, the both sexes will respect each other more than whether they are life partners (Husband and Wife), colleagues, friends etc but if there is no equality between the genders then each gender will try to make the other gender down and will end up hating each other and more misunderstandings will be created amongst them.

Dear people if today there will be no equality and we teach our daughters to just compromise, sacrifice and tolerate then we will be doing really injustice with them tomorrow or some day we are going to die for sure what are we going to reply to God ??? That the angels he created and granted us we were not able to protect it??? If we don’t train our daughters to be independent and fight back for their rights then tomorrow there is a possibility someone else will torture them and snatch their rights and they won’t be able to do anything, so dear people don’t consider your daughters as a burden but make them your pride, be proud of them encourage them more to fulfill their dreams etc and teach them to be independent and not to depend on anyone even on you as a father once they are an adult and matured.

Dear girls, ladies be strong stand up for yourself as if you don’t stand up for yourself, for your rights then no one else will and don’t change yourself for anyone.

BE STRONG, BE YOU ………

A female can do anything, never underestimate her or consider her silence to be her weakness.

Gender equality is not a lady or women’s issue, it is a human issue it affects us all……

Fighting for gender equality is not the responsibility of women’s only but the entire society and community is held accountable for it.

The day we stop thinking us or others as man and women while following our goals, that’s the day we can really rise up to equality.

So dear people stop waiting for others to make this change and development in our community stand up and be the first person to make the change in our society and encourage everyone to be a part of this change and slowly you will see a very great change and development in the country, society, community etc.
