My story how I started to learn English,and why i still do that....

When I was 14 years old,i actually didn't consider,that English is

toats significant in our life,it's obviuosly.By then I was into reading books, into studying,but i didn't get that one of the most important subjects was only English.My narrative of learning English starts when i departed to Spain on my birthday , for 1 week(it was a resort).I couldn't say any single word to American guys,but I felt a fascinating feeling when i said to them just one word.I didn't have any fluency.But it was enough for me to be blissfuly jubilant! It was ineffeble!I constantly imagened that i was a native speaker,as though i know plenty of words.It was really exciting!!!.But,unfortunately, it was finished,when i came back to my native country-Ukrain.Why it was finished?-

1)Because i had forgotten this amazing feeling,when I spoke with native speakers,so i stoped to encourage myself to do that.

2)I payed attention on having fun with my friends,on hanging out somewher(i didn't have any conscience)but what is more, i was an excellent student,i was very comparative(and until now i'mcomparative as well),and I had pretty good marks.But still, i didn't adore English.

But one day had changed everythihg......

I was invited to my granny's relative with my granny,daddy,sister.I thought that we would only together without someone else. However I was wrong...Suddenly one boy came to us with his mommy.They were granny's sister's relatives.I knew them,but not very splendid.We spoke about something,however, i don't remember exactly about what,but i remember accurately that this boy(his name-Alex),spoke about English,about his desire to study abroad and to be an interpreter.Generally he told,that he was passionate and crazy about foreign languages.All of us were suprised.Especially I was.O my goodness,he was so intelligent,educated!!! At that moment I felt that I was so silly,stupid and unintelligent.More than that I wanted to cry,but i got a grip(later).I started to envy this boy(i wanna to remind you,that i was soooo comperetive),and just then i undersood,how wrong was I,how wrong was i about English....

After this meeting my granny insisted me to learn English.And i got that i was so capable of learning foreign languges,i adored them.Of course i accused,blamed myself that i wasn't so clever like that boy,i constantly compared myself with him.And I constantly asked myself "How i dared to don't learn English?"

Al though it wasn't the most dreadful thing.The most dreadful thing was:When I wanted to learn english,to develop my acent,etc-i have bad thouths which made me mad or crazy.They were about " Why do you need to learn English,stop do it, it's not for you!"(It was like a mysterious voice in my brain).It was a disaster.That entire period was soo tough.Despite it I suffered,but i still urged myself to learn English,and never gave up.However it was completely a nightmare!But thankfully i got rid of those horrible thoughts(I can tell you how i've done it in the next post,If u need))So i googled some popular american bloggers,and I watched every single video in English.I was so inspired to learn English by Marina Mogilko(not only by my grandmother).That was for me like an enjoyment to watch Marina Mogilko's videos.They were so imperessive and more than that, they motivated me to enjoy this life and love ENGLISH.

Now guys in 7th of June I can say ,that i exactly have my accurate aim it's-to be a polyglot.To compare my previous year and this year where i 'm 15 years old,i can say that now i'm so diffrent person,and languages have changed my life...

I'm so grateful and thankful to the heavens,to Universe,that i accepted languages to my life,and i want to achieve,reach my aims........

P.S.Buddyes,sorry for my mistakes,i'm not native speakers.I didn't mention,but by now my level is-B2,so don't judge me.Can you correct my mistakes in the coments bellow? If you please.

EDK Media attends a film, music and dance workshop in Umlazi

Ezase Durban Media KZN better known as EDK Media is a Film and TV production company established back in 2011, based in the heart of Durban KwaZulu-Natal. It offers a variety of services including: TV Presenting Training, Photoshoots, TV Shows, Documentaries, Events management and many more.

On Friday the 15th of July 2022, EDK Media production team attended an art workshop in Umlazi, the south eastern part of KwaZulu-Natal which was held in Umlazi Cinema Hall.

The event was solely based on ways that the youth could utilize to venture into the corporate sector and the entertainment industry. The gap has been identified, that the youth is seeking employment rather than self employment. With the unemployment rate at its peak in South Africa, it is crystal clear that having a degree does not automatically translate to employment.

Dignitaries and speakers from different places graced the event with their presence, amongst which Mr Xolani Dlamini, the founder and event organizer of Urban Arts Entertainment attended. Menzi Theo (executive director of EDK Media), Bella Mnyandu and Smangele Sokhela commended the event organizers for pulling off such a great event in such a short space of time.

We still have a long way ahead to ensure that our government is democratically accountable for its people and for the young people to be granted equal opportunity. We're hopeful that events of this nature make a dent.
