Schools across the state have closed down in a bid to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. This situation has left many children stuck in their homes. It has proved to be a difficult situation for both teachers and children alike. However, children are finding ways to show their love for their teachers, even in this circumstance.
Recently, Heather, a teacher in Cypress, received flowers that came with a note addressed to her. It was from one of her second-grade students, Emerson. In the letter, Emerson expresses how much she misses her teacher. She also explained that her mother was not a good teacher, and she missed studying science as a subject.
Heather sent this note to The Today Show, where they read it out loud in their Sunday mail segment. You can read the love and amusement Heather felt in the letter she sent with it. She wrote that this was her real life and that she couldn't try to make it up.
