NATO must patrol the Black Sea to deter Russian military activity, Putin is winning the information war in Russia, and Ukraine is winning internationally.
This was stated by a military analyst, senior researcher at the Center for European Political Analysis in the United States, Mark Voyger, in an interview with Sky News, writes The Guardian.
According to him, the Black Sea is now turning into a "Russian lake", like the Sea of Azov, and the Black Sea is actually divided by several NATO members: Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey.
"So I would say that ultimately we have to do it. If there is no no-fly zone, we can do something about the no-fly zone, if you like, in the Black Sea, because Russia is targeting international shipping," he noted.
When asked by journalists who will win this war, he replied:
“Ukraine is winning it locally, tactically, operationally, internationally, strategically. From an information point of view, I will say that the information war is certainly of decisive importance,” he stressed.
However, the expert noted that Putin is winning the war against Russia, and Ukraine is winning at the international level.
“He is slowly but surely replicating the Soviet system – a totalitarian system that forbids any dissent and stifles access to free information. So internationally, Ukraine wins. Internally, Russia wins as long as we can break through this thick wall of lies and propaganda and convince the Russian people that it is bad even for Russia".
