19 января, в день Крещения Господня, сотрудники спецподразделения СОБР Управления Росгвардии по Республике Марий Эл приняли участие в Крещенских купаниях.
Священное мероприятие состоялось в традиционном месте крещенских купаний бойцов Росгвардии - купели села Ежово Медведевского района.
Вместе с личным составом в источник окунулся и духовно приобщился к празднованию Святого Богоявления командир спецподразделения СОБР Управления Росгвардии по Республике Марий Эл полковник полиции Николай Курицын.
«Сотрудники СОБР на протяжении многих лет придерживаются традиции купаться в проруби на Крещение, и для нас крещенское купание – это не просто дань православной традиции, но еще физическая и моральная закалка. С каждым годом желающих окунуться на Крещение становится всё больше, и это хорошо, это служит сплочению коллектива. Настоящий боец спецназа должен быть крепок не только телом, но и духом, я уже больше 10 лет, не смотря на погодные условия, регулярно окунаюсь в купели на источнике» - поделился Николай Анатольевич.
Стоит отметить, что в этот день не все сотрудники Росгвардии смогли присоединиться к этому событию – в это время совместно с сотрудниками полиции, представителями частных охранных структур, членами добровольных народных и казачьих дружин росгвардейцы обеспечивали общественную безопасность на других места проведения крещенских омовений.
