UAE approves 'golden' visa allowing 10-year residency for certain professions
Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum on Sunday announced that UAE has approved a 'golden' visa grant allowing 10-year residency for certain professions including specialised degree-holders and others.
Taking on Twitter, the Dubai leader said that the visa grant will be for "all holders of doctorate degrees, all doctors, engineers in the fields of computer engineering, electronics, programming, electricity and biotechnology, outperforming accredited universities in the country at a rate of 3.8 and more," as roughly translated.
Terming it as 'Golden residency', the ruler added that the visa will also be granted to "holders of specialized degrees in artificial intelligence, big data, or epidemiology and viruses .."
Moreover, the visa opportunities also will be available for "first high school students in the country with their families," the leader added.
He also added,"we want such minds and talents to remain continue with us in the process of development and achievements of the country," translated roughly from his Twitter account.
The golden card is a long-term residency programme announced by the Prime Minister and ruler of Dubai, in May 2019. Not long after its launch, more than 400 investors and businesspeople, including some of their families, had already been granted the visa, with dozens more receiving it each day.
Welcome to 2021 everyone!
Assalamoalaykum and I hope your first 2 days of January went well.
2020 was a very different year with its own perks, although I don't believe it was all bad. 2020 in my opinion, opened many doors for us that we couldn't have even noticed if it weren't for these hardships we had gone through.
However, let us all pray to Allah for a better year, a year that brings us joy, a year that heals all the wounds we developed during the past years, and most of all a year that opens new doors for us that leads us to our goals.
As someone said:
"Memories are the timeless treasures of the heart"
It will always be necessary to move on in life, to not cling to the past though it is my belief that a man is nothing without his past.
Always cherish your memories good and bad, for they are what built you.
Always strive for the better future and make a change in your present, the past is all the steps that you put to ascend.
May Allah bless us all and cure all the diseases, heal all mentally and physically and shower his men with happiness.
(Ameen)
Schooling and it’s effects on children:
The first article I wrote on avalanches was about how I wasn’t satisfied with the school systems that are in care of youth today.
Todays article is somewhat related to that, where i’m going to share some of my experiences and sharing a general picture of how today’s system effects students in a good as well as bad way.
As I have written before schools today do not welcome new ideas, frankly speaking they can’t except the new generation, or well that’s what I think. I mean, it’s 2020 and we’re still studying Microsoft 2007. When we get to our engineering classes no one is going to even ask how to open word document on the 2007 interface.
First of all, schools should get the new edition of all books every year because holding children back from what’s going on in the present is useless maybe it saves them the trouble of searching new answers...
Second, sometimes the student is right. Many teachers do acknowledge that and they are overall very good to students but there is a small community of teachers that believe that they are the only sophisticated people in the room, it isn’t a big issue but it’s irritating that even if you were wrong isn’t it a students job to question the reason to the solution?
Ive met many teachers who are verbally abusive towards her students and I don’t blame their anger most of the time because students can also get extremely irritating at times but to an extent, I think many people in anger forget that those around them aren’t punching bags or stress relief balls you can squeeze the hell out of.
Many teachers, who aren’t frustrated just naturally like to criticise others around them and it hurts, it hurts very bad no matter how mentally strong you find yourself to be.
I know because it’s happened to me, where I got rejected as an eleven year old with a tall height in a singing competition because my voice wasn’t ‘mature’ enough.
And believe me I haven’t sung infront of anyone since.
My point is, degrading someone using verbal attacks is the most successful assault you could use to ultimately destroy someone from the inside, while many people can fix themselves or receive help many out there are only killing themselves inside.
However, everyone has their flaws. Nothing in life can be perfect, but that doesn’t mean that we ignore problems with a huge impact, like ruining a students motivation, his mentality his holes his dreams everything while trying to force him into sharing an idea that you think is correct and may or may not be wrong or Illogical.
Limiting ones brain to only go by the book to get an A+ on a test that no ones going to use in his practical life and ignoring the essential information about the real outside world.
Even so, there are many teachers out there who wish they could do this but can’t because it’s against orders, not all teachers are bad, the people that taught me in my previous classes, the ones who believed in me who put their all in me, I think everything that I do today is because they taught me to forge my own path when I don’t like the one forged for me.
I think that every one every where needs to change some things that effect those around them.

Sons and daughters:
Why is it that ‘beta’ is used for sons, and ‘beti’ as well as ‘beta’ can be used for a daughter?
That is because a female can easily adapt to different circumstances in her life, when she needs to she can be the male figure her family needs and when needed she can be the necessary female figure needed to keep her family stable, however a male no matter what he does can only remain the male figure and cannot become the female figure for his family,
Women are strong, we are strong. Being strong doesn’t mean that women have jobs and work outside no, being strong means we play an important role in the lives of those around us, we have good characters and being strong to me, also means that we realise our worth and without forcing make others around us know that too.
It is a mother’s arms that cradles the baby, a mother’s womb the child’s first home, no matter if he’s male or female, the first school for a child is his mother, point is we women set the base for our country’s youth, it isn’t men it’s women, without women, even men could not be born.
So don’t thing that your son is superior to your daughter, the prophet also says that a person is only superior to each other on the basis of his faith. It is a parent’s job to raise strong daughters and sons with strong characters who will sure to raise the name of the country.
What was Albert Einstein famous for?
Albert Einstein is justly famous for devising his theory of relativity, which revolutionized our understanding of space, time, gravity, and the universe
WHAT IS GLOBAL WARMING? Global warming is the long-term heating of Earth's climate system observed since the pre-industrial period (between 1850 and 1900) due to human activities, primarily fossil fuel burning, which increases heat-trapping greenhouse gas levels in Earth's atmosphere.

Present, Past and Recent advancements in combat against COVID-19
Corona virus is member of subfamily Orthocoronavirinae, family coronaviridae and order Nidovirales. Corona virus usually causes respiratory and gastrointestinal infections. The recent outbreak is due to unique ß-corona virus (COVID-19). The virus genome is single stranded RNA positive sense. Various studies have been carried out to find the origin of this virus, phylogenetic analysis have also been performed and it revealed that this virus is from bat origin. Bats serve as reservoir hosts for this virus. This is virus is 82% similar to human corona virus (SARS-CoV) and 50% to MERS-CoV. Studies have revealed that there was transmission of MERS-CoV from bats to camels. There are various theories regarding current virus pandemic.
Corona viruses are RNA viruses and have crown like appearance when observed under electron microscope. Corona word originated from a Latin word coronum means crown like. Its crown like appearance is due to presence of surface glycoproteins. This virus can be classified in four genera. They are α-coronavirus, ß-coronavirus, Deltacoronavirus and γ-coronavirus. The ß-coronavirus is further divided into five lineages. The phylogenetic studies have revealed that the α-coronavirus and ß-coronavirus are transmitted by bats and rodents. Coronaviridae is a large family and the members of this family causes respiratory, GIT, hepatic and neurological disorders. There are about seven coronaviruses that can infect human beings. There are different coronaviruses here that can infect humans includes HCoV-OC43, HCoV-HKU1, HCoV-229E, and HCoV-NL63, these all are under umbrella of α-coronaviruses. These viruses lead to upper respiratory infections and the disease is self-limiting. The immunocompromised and elder people are more prone to these infections. There are other coronaviruses that can cause illness in humans include SARS-CoV, SARS-CoV-2, and MERS-CoV. These viruses can cause respiratory or other systemic ailments. These morality rates are also variable. These are member of ß-coronaviruses. It was thought that the recent outbreak in Wuhan was due to sea food consumption. It was the major reason for human infection. Later, there were cases that were not linked with this mechanism. It was revealed through various studies that it can be transmitted from one individual to another individual so, the people with symptoms of coronavirus are major source of infection transmission. There are various other respiratory pathogens rhinovirus, the transmission is can occur through respiratory droplets and that can be through coughing and sneezing. Aerosol transmission has also been observed in case of exposure to elevated aerosol concentrations in closed facilities. The transmission, in fact, is primarily to family members, healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, other hospital staff and health workers), and people with close contact with to infected individual. Pathophysiology of the agent is kind of unique, In Coronaviruses, the genomic structure is positive sense single stranded RNA of approximately 30 kilobytes in length and these are largest known RNA viruses and with a 5′-cap structure and 3′-poly-A tail. Starting from the viral RNA, the synthesis of polyprotein in the host is understood. The transcription occurs through the replication & transcription complex that is structured in double-membrane vesicles and via the synthesis of sub-enomic RNA sequences. The virulence of virus is due to nonstructural and structural proteins the nonstructural proteins are able to block the host immune response that’s why there is rapid damage to host system. The structural proteins are involved in assembly and release mechanisms. The virus is still under study and scientists are working on its different structural domains for better understanding and development of treatment. It has also been observed that the virus initiates excessive immune reaction in host and that is known as cytokine storm. This results in excessive tissue damage. The agonist for this cytokine storm is Interlukin-6 that is responsible for activation of various lymphocytes. It also helps in promotion of various other immune cells like involved in differentiation of B lymphocytes. It also helps in release of various acute phase proteins that are responsible for thermoregulation. There are various histopathological studies that have been conducted to understand the virus pathology. The lungs were examined histologically and there were edema and excessive tissue damage. The lungs were filled proteinaceous exudate. Fibrin like material has also been observed. These implications ultimately lead to difficult breathing and pulmonary arrest. The symptoms for COVID-19 infection are fever, coughing, soreness in throat, nasal congestion, headache, malaise, pain in muscles and generalized illness. The multiple organ failure due to sepsis has also been observed in this infection. To date, there is no treatment for this mysterious infection. There are no specific drugs or vaccines available for its cure. Symptomatic treatment has been performed in all countries and patients are treated with oxygen supply through ventilators. The infection can be differentiated with other viral infections like Adenoviruses, Influenza, Parainfluenza, Human metapneumovirus, Respiratory syncytial virus and common cold caused by Rhino viruses.
WHO (World Health Organization) recommendations
Ø Avoid contact with the infected individuals
Ø Frequent washing of hands after contact with people or environment
Ø Avoid contact with domestic or wild animals
Ø Social distancing is really important
Ø Strict hygienic measures should be adopted to avoid sickness
Ø Avoidance of contact by already diseased people with other infected people or environment
These measures should be adopted to avoid getting infected by this notorious pathogen. The governments are doing their best to combat this pathogen. They should be supported and encouraged. The people should listen to their superiors and governments. These are difficult times and will pass. Life is precious. So, stay home and stay safe.
