Roblox Adopt Me | Mean Girl
~Hello! This is my first short story, that happened to me in real life!~
So, I was just playing Roblox, then went to Adopt Me. I was doing stuff, taking care of my pet, all that boring stuff, you know? Then, a girl walks up to me, what should I call her? Jenny, ok Jenny asks for a pet in the chat, she keeps asking for one. SO, I go to her house, and give her a cat, I go to the main area, then Jenny sends me a friend request. I accept it, to be nice. Then, Jenny teleports to me and says, 'I don't like cheap pets, give me a rare one.' I give her a rare pet hoping she would leave me alone, but nope! She keeps asking for more, so I ignore her and join a different server, but since she's friends with me, she joined my game. She kept saying what a bully I was, and people BELIEVED her. Like, what?? They kept reporting me and I got kicked out of the game. I'm not saying don't help people, I'm saying don't help the wrong people.

West-Nile-Virus-carrying mosquitoes detected in Tulsa
Authorities of the Tulsa Health Department (THD) confirmed the presence of West Nile Virus (WNV) in the mosquito samples collected from a trap in Tulsa County. As per WHO and the American Mosquito Control Association, there is no evidence that mosquitoes can transmit COVID-19, a virus that affects the respiratory system and spreads maximally via droplets when an infected person sneezes, coughs or talks. Mosquitoes can transmit viruses like WNV, and hence, people are recommended to use repellents containing DEET.
THD functions on an efficient budget to control mosquito populations by nationally-recognized mosquito surveillance programs which also helps to affirm the presence of mosquito-borne illnesses in the community. The target of the surveillance is to identify the presence of mosquitoes, to know its abundance, species, make a hazard appraisal, and give a premise to control. Control strategies incorporate larviciding and spraying when required. The mosquito surveillance has implemented new testing guidelines and is working to trap potential WNV positive mosquitoes as soon as possible. Every year since 2003, human cases of WNV disease are observed in Tulsa County. The virus infects human via mosquito bites, and the symptoms of this disease include headache, sudden onset of fever, muscle weakness and dizziness. Precautions to be taken are:
- Do not dump waste materials in stagnant water and drain out such items, so that mosquitoes do not get a place to breed.
- Use DEET containing, or CDC approved mosquito repellents.
- Ensure gutters are not clogged.
- Encourage people around you to dump and drain as well as use repellents.

Dear America,
I am writing to you to tell you that we need to put politics aside for once. All America has been the last decade or so is so politically motivated.People do not care for one another's opinions or beliefs but their own there are few of those people in America that do.This past election has raised issues across the country. Not only has the president been decided but Americas fate has been too.See we are so divided with one another that we forget about the upcoming generation who we as adults and elders influence their beliefs.I have seen this affect in many households around me.Part of my family is liberal while the other is Conservative which affects my views on politics. My family’s friends in which I have visited often their children the future of this country are taking in their parents beliefs.Although this is not true for most families as we all have that one child whose views on politics are completely different from everyone else's.But I am not a particular party as I have claimed to be republican to please my family. Although I may have “Conservative” views on politics I also have “liberal” thinking as well.See i have always gone with the flow of our country’s politics whether its a Democrat or a Republican sitting in the beloved Oval Office.Everyone seems to think the President has this magical power to make everything happen when in reality he has none at all;the real power lies within congress which for years has been clashing over stupid party politics. It’s time our country sees the writing on the wall as the fall of “The Great American Democracy” falls. It will fall due to the vast majority of Americans being divided against each other fighting over part politics our Founding fathers warned us about what having two political parties would do to our democracy and the people of the United States take it from John Adams who said “There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution.”Washington also agreed saying in his farewell speech “The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries, which result, gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of Public Liberty Without looking forward to an extremity of this kind, (which nevertheless ought not to be entirely out of sight,) the common and continual mischiefs of the spirit of party are sufficient to make it the interest and duty of a wise people to discourage and restrain it.It always serves to distract the Public Councils, and enfeeble the Public Administration. It agitates the Community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms; kindles the animosity of one part against another, foments occasionally riot and insurrection. It opens the door to foreign influence and corruption, which find a facilitated access to the government itself through the channels of party passions. Thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another. There is an opinion, that parties in free countries are useful checks upon the administration of the Government, and serve to keep alive the spirit of Liberty. This within certain limits is probably true; and in Governments of a Monarchical cast, Patriotism may look with indulgence, if not with favor, upon the spirit of party. But in those of the popular character, in Governments purely elective, it is a spirit not to be encouraged. From their natural tendency, it is certain there will always be enough of that spirit for every salutary purpose. And, there being constant danger of excess, the effort ought to be, by force of public opinion, to mitigate and assuage it. A fire not to be quenched, it demands a uniform vigilance to prevent its bursting into a flame, lest, instead of warming, it should consume.” These are two of our Founding Fathers one of which would go to a political war with his own best friend due to the own two party system he warned about. America has most certainly changed a lot since the famous signing of our Independence. Our Country’s democracy is held by a small microscopic thread which is slowly disappearing. The future Americans being born or growing up are being influenced not only by family but the world around the whether it’s school or it’s other kids parents. If you asked anyone young american growing up in this nation about politics they would not have the concept to come up with opinion on their own.A child growing up in a conservitive household is more likely to reflect those views or vice-versa.The way American is going is down a path in which will make our country look weak. Most countries already look at us that way.We act like the world revolves around our country when it does not.We have start to become the laughing stock of this world because of our politics and how we bash each other over the smallest things possible when much worse is happening around the world and in our own backyard. So I am asking for Americans of all races, nationality, sexual orientation, religion, etc to
Unite as one to show that America is still strong as the great president Abraham Lincoln said “ A house divided against itself cannot stand.” I want you to read these words from John F. Kennedy’s inaugural speech they mean as much today as they did then.He said “We observe today not a victory of party but a celebration of freedom--symbolizing an end as well as a beginning--signifying renewal as well as change. For I have sworn before you and Almighty God the same solemn oath our forbears prescribed nearly a century and three-quarters ago.The world is very different now. For man holds in his mortal hands the power to abolish all forms of human poverty and all forms of human life. And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe--the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state but from the hand of God We dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution. Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans--born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage--and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world.Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty. This much we pledge--and more.To those old allies whose cultural and spiritual origins we share, we pledge the loyalty of faithful friends. United there is little we cannot do in a host of cooperative ventures. Divided there is little we can do--for we dare not meet a powerful challenge at odds and split asunder. To those new states whom we welcome to the ranks of the free, we pledge our word that one form of colonial control shall not have passed away merely to be replaced by a far more iron tyranny. We shall not always expect to find them supporting our view. But we shall always hope to find them strongly supporting their own freedom--and to remember that, in the past, those who foolishly sought power by riding the back of the tiger ended up inside. To those people in the huts and villages of half the globe struggling to break the bonds of mass misery, we pledge our best efforts to help them help themselves, for whatever period is required--not because the communists may be doing it, not because we seek their votes, but because it is right. If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich.To our sister republics south of our border, we offer a special pledge--to convert our good words into good deeds--in a new alliance for progress--to assist free men and free governments in casting off the chains of poverty. But this peaceful revolution of hope cannot become the prey of hostile powers. Let all our neighbors know that we shall join with them to oppose aggression or subversion anywhere in the Americas. And let every other power know that this Hemisphere intends to remain the master of its own house. To that world assembly of sovereign states, the United Nations, our last best hope in an age where the instruments of war have far outpaced the instruments of peace, we renew our pledge of support--to prevent it from becoming merely a forum for invective--to strengthen its shield of the new and the weak--and to enlarge the area in which its writ may run. Finally, to those nations who would make themselves our adversary, we offer not a pledge but a request: that both sides begin anew the quest for peace, before the dark powers of destruction unleashed by science engulf all humanity in planned or accidental self-destruction.We dare not tempt them with weakness. For only when our arms are sufficient beyond doubt can we be certain beyond doubt that they will never be employed. But neither can two great and powerful groups of nations take comfort from our present course--both sides overburdened by the cost of modern weapons, both rightly alarmed by the steady spread of the deadly atom, yet both racing to alter that uncertain balance of terror that stays the hand of mankind's final war.So let us begin anew--remembering on both sides that civility is not a sign of weakness, and sincerity is always subject to proof. Let us never negotiate out of fear. But let us never fear to negotiate.Let both sides explore what problems unite us instead of belaboring those problems which divide us.Let both sides, for the first time, formulate serious and precise proposals for the inspection and control of arms--and bring the absolute power to destroy other nations under the absolute control of all nations.Let both sides seek to invoke the wonders of science instead of its terrors. Together let us explore the stars, conquer the deserts, eradicate disease, tap the ocean depths and encourage the arts and commerce.Let both sides unite to heed in all corners of the earth the command of Isaiah--to "undo the heavy burdens . . . (and) let the oppressed go free."And if a beachhead of cooperation may push back the jungle of suspicion, let both sides join in creating a new endeavor, not a new balance of power, but a new world of law, where the strong are just and the weak secure and the peace preserved. All this will not be finished in the first one hundred days. Nor will it be finished in the first one thousand days, nor in the life of this Administration, nor even perhaps in our lifetime on this planet. But let us begin. In your hands, my fellow citizens, more than mine, will rest the final success or failure of our course. Since this country was founded, each generation of Americans has been summoned to give testimony to its national loyalty. The graves of young Americans who answered the call to service surround the globe. Now the trumpet summons us again--not as a call to bear arms, though arms we need--not as a call to battle, though embattled we are-- but a call to bear the burden of a long twilight struggle, year in and year out, "rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation"--a struggle against the common enemies of man: tyranny, poverty, disease and war itself. Can we forge against these enemies a grand and global alliance, North and South, East and West, that can assure a more fruitful life for all mankind? Will you join in that historic effort? In the long history of the world, only a few generations have been granted the role of defending freedom in its hour of maximum danger. I do not shrink from this responsibility--I welcome it. I do not believe that any of us would exchange places with any other people or any other generation. The energy, the faith, the devotion which we bring to this endeavor will light our country and all who serve it--and the glow from that fire can truly light the world. And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you--ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man. Finally, whether you are citizens of America or citizens of the world, ask of us here the same high standards of strength and sacrifice which we ask of you. With a good conscience our only sure reward, with history the final judge of our deeds, let us go forth to lead the land we love, asking His blessing and His help, but knowing that here on earth God's work must truly be our own.”-John F. Kennedy inaugural address January 20th,1961
My final words are this: America throw away all your prejudices and hate for each other's opinions and beliefs because if you don’t we are sure to fall really hard.
Sincerely,
VLTN
