Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2021) surfaces in rough CAD-based renders - GSMArena.com news - GSMArena.com
It would shockingly be the successor to the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020).
Aside from the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite, Samsung is also busy working on another, even more low-end tablet. We're talking about the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2021), the successor to the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), unsurprisingly. That model launched in March of last year, so expect to see its successor around the same time. As we wait for the official introduction, we now get to gawk at some very rough-looking CAD-based renders of the upcoming tablet. These reveal rounded corners, thin-ish bezels for this price point, a single camera on the back, and no physical buttons on the front. There doesn't seem to be a fingerprint sensor anywhere, which wouldn't be surprising for a budget tablet. Compared to its predecessor, it's not much of a change, design-wise. Hopefully the new stuff will be housed on the inside. The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2021) is said to measure 201.9 x 125.2 x 7 mm, and those dimensions are eerily similar to the 2020 model's 202 x 125.2 x 7.1 mm. The upcoming tablet also retains its predecessor's 3.5mm headphone jack and USB-C charging port. Source
The next MacBook Air will be thinner and lighter, with smaller bezels too - GSMArena.com news - GSMArena.com
We will also see the return of MagSafe to the MacBook Air lineup.
According to a recent report from Bloomberg, Apple is working on an upgraded MacBook Air which will have a revamped design and new hardware. It's supposed to come around towards the end of this year and now the author of the report has revealed some more details on the design changes. The next gen Air will sport a thinner and lighter chassis while the screen would have trimmed bezels further reducing the footprint. We will also see the return of the MagSafe charging system. Moreover, it will carry a more distinctive design making it stand out from the MacBook Pros. In addition to the more refined aesthetics that the upcoming MacBook Air will offer, we should also look forward to the upgraded Apple M1 chip. In fact, Bloomberg thinks that the new MacBook Air will be positioned as a more premium alternative to the current MacBook Air instead of a direct successor. Source
Samsung rolls back Android 11/One UI 3.0 update for the Galaxy S10 lineup - GSMArena.com news - GSMArena.com
The reason is unclear for now.
Earlier this month, Samsung pushed an OTA update to the entire Samsung Galaxy S10 lineup containing Android 11 and the maker's One UI 3.0. However, the company abruptly stopped the update and is no longer available for the Galaxy S10 phones. Samsung still hasn't disclosed the reason for rolling back the update, although clearly these are related to some bugs discovered in the code. Some users say that the update has introduced a couple of annoying bugs like a strange blur in photos and devices heating during normal use. We suspect that there are more than a few bugs that forced Samsung to make such a drastic decision. We are yet to find out how long it's going to take for the update seeding to resume. Source

More Honor V40 specs surface, a 3D ToF camera to be on the front - GSMArena.com news - GSMArena.com
50W wireless charging is in the list of specs.
The Honor V40 is going to be the company's debut as an independent entity and the phone shapes up to be a feature-packed beast. The latest report from the so-called "Digital Chat Station" (Google translated) on Weibo gives us a little bit more insight into the front-facing camera and the battery. Honor V30 ProHe says that the dual punch-hole that we saw in the official poster houses a standard 16MP selfie camera alongside a 3D ToF sensor, which also means that the V40 will feature an advanced face unlocking. A 4,000 mAh battery will be powering up the handset but only the higher spec-ed memory variant will support 50W wireless charging, confirming a recent leak. Wide 100% P3 color gamut, stereo loudspeakers and a set of two linear vibration motors will also be on board. Given the provided information, it's probably safe to assume that Honor won't be doing the traditional feature segregation by launching more than one flagship device, but will instead unveil a single V40 phone with the only difference being the wireless charging capability on configurations with higher storage and RAM.
