We’ve long known that Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson was once attached to a Halo film, but he was apparently also working on a new game in the series at some point too. This tidbit comes from long-term Halo composer Marty O’Donnell, who recently shared the story of Halo 3: ODST‘s development via a YouTube comment.
According to O’Donnell, when Bungie was negotiating its split from Microsoft Games Studio in 2007, a part of the agreement was for the studio to make a fourth Halo game (which became Reach) and to assist on the Peter Jackson project. Originally, Bungie would have been released from that responsibility if Jackson’s game fell through. However, the clause stipulating that condition was removed at some point.
The Empty Lot is a tiny plot of unused land in the fictional Kamurocho district seen in action-adventure game Yakuza 0. Its the final piece in the Kamurocho Revitalization Project, promising a fortune to those who get their hands on it first. The problem is no one knows who it belongs to. This kicks off a real estate tussle between the Tojo Clans families and Tachibana Real Estate with both parties vying for its ownership. In an interesting turn of events, a similar situation to those of Yakuza 0 and the Empty Lot is unfolding right now in real life in Manhattan.
As reported by The New York Times, Eliot Spitzer, the former governor of New York, faces a lawsuit from a cooperative board. It claims ownership of a 350-square-foot plot next to his building. A doctrine called adverse possession upholds the boards side of the case. It grants a party the ability to file a legal claim to a property after 10 years of undisputed use.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is getting one more demo ahead of release, and it will let you carry your progress over when the game launches on March 3. According to a post on the game’s official Twitter profile, the demo will be available from February 24. That gives players a full week to test it out to see whether they want to dive fully into the action-RPG.
In addition, players who complete the demo will get access to the Crouching Dragon Helmet. Beyond that, exactly what the demo includes isn’t clear. However, we can very likely assume the character creator and opening section of the game will be playable, given the save transfer option.

Whats worse than being slaughtered by a flesh-crafted abomination and having your own corpse warped into a hideous and equally murderous form? Not much, but planet cracking in Dead Space comes a close second to its Necromorph nightmare.
